A Day In Melbourne with Eloise Mumme

Hawthorn local @eloisemumme is our muse for the moment.

Her unique take on style is playful and nostalgic, and brings a colourful energy to the Melbourne style scene. We caught up with Eloise over lunch at Grazia, followed by Bonnard at the NGV, with a speedy outfit change at s t e e l e . house in between.

How would you define your style?

I think I have a classic and elegant style. Staple pieces in my wardrobe are white pants, the perfect pair of denim jeans, tank tops, summer dresses and sneakers.  All timeless basics that can be enjoyed for seasons.

What do you love about Melbourne?

I love the style, the food and the fact that there is always something new to discover. My favourite way to spend a day would be going for brunch and walking around the Tan.

How do you approach your daily styling and decide on your wardrobe each day?

I usually style my outfits around a favourite piece of clothing, such as a cute top or new shoes and create my look from there. I love trying on every possible option from my wardrobe, safe to say my bedroom doesn’t stay clean for long…oopsie! Sunglasses and a great handbag are my favourite accessories as they can effortlessly elevate your look.
